e-petitions has chosen Unboxed Consulting to support the online petition site

The site enables members of the public to create and sign petitions online to influence government and parliament in the UK; those that receive more than 100,000 in signatures will be considered for debate in the House of Commons.

Unboxed Consulting created e-petitions, the online public service application, in 2011 and has now won the contract to provide support to users and administrators of the site.

e-petitions is one of several innovative online applications to be delivered by the Government Digital Service, under the stewardship of Peter Herlihy. Unboxed director and co-founder, Richard Stobart, says: “Having created e-petitions for the Government Digital Service, we’re delighted to be supporting it going forward and play a role in its ongoing success. The system represents a real opportunity for anyone in the UK to create change in an area they are passionate about and we’re proud to be chosen to suppor this.“

G-Cloud is a collection of companies.

Unboxed was accepted in 2012 and is now kicking off the first project with epetitions – picked from G-Cloud
