We’re very proud to announce that Petitions, developed and supported by Unboxed for the UK Government and Parliament, has recently received Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) Well Architected Review (WAR) status, along with passing the Foundational Technical Review (FTR).
Being on the AWS Partner Network has been an exciting journey so far, with our development team continuing to learn, grow their expertise and gain knowledge in the vast array of AWS services across the cloud platform. And of course become AWS-certified in everything from Developer to Cloud Practitioner to Solutions Architect!
The latest achievement for our Petitions solution to receive WAR and FTR status provides a validated ‘seal of approval’ - assuring the quality, reliability, security and operational excellence, and that it follows AWS’ Well-Architected best practices.
It also underpins the potential reuse and development of the open-source platform. Already in place for the UK, States of Jersey, Scottish and Welsh parliaments, we’re actively working with AWS to explore opportunities globally.
